What your research should include:

The research will be put into appendices in your folder which will be sent off to the examining board. By the 3rd of October all of this should be on your blog and in paper form in the following order. You may add to it at a later stage.


Appendix 1 Planning: production log, photos of locations, pitch, storyboard, animatic, ideas, mood board.
Appendix 2 Audience Research: audience questionnaires and results, audience feedback after pitch, rough cuts and final product. Any response from blog and youtube.
Appendix 3 Generic Research – deconstructions of existing videos- at least 3, particularly ones that have influenced you. annotations of myspace/web pages, cd covers, inserts etc depending on whether you are doing the cross media.
Appendix 4 Theory Research: Your summaries and understanding of the media theories I have given you about music. You should also do some research into audience theories.
Bibliography, any books or URLs you have used extensively.

Deadlines for 2008/9 Advanced Practicals

3rd October- all generic and audience research completed and uploaded to blog.
6th October- all footage filmed-show 'rushes'.
editing until half term.
All first cuts to be complete and uploaded to You tube with links to your blog by Thursday 23rd October.

Write first draft of evaluation over half term.
No more lesson time after half term

Give evaluation in on Monday 3rd November.
Returned to you ASAP.

Final draft handed in 28th November.
